1974 401 Automatic Javelin AMX. This car was originally a 360CI engine with automatic transmission, replaced with a strong running 401. I have several projects that I’ve been working on and don’t have time to complete them all. This car is very close to completion and needs only some finishing touches to be ready for a long trip. It is completely rust free and has had extensive Motor and Transmission work over the last few years. The Engine has been completely rebuilt with the finest parts and has been Dyno tested at about 400Hp. Transmission has been totally rebuilt when engine work was done. New dash harness has been installed, but not all the gauges are working. New billet aluminum pulleys have been installed and a new aluminum radiator was fabricated for the car. The master cylinder is new, but I’m still not happy with the pedal pressure, needs to be looked at. The headers have a slight leak and should replaced. I did not replace them when the engine was rebuilt. The car has been sitting for a few years and but has been run on a regular basis since all the work was completed. It has a decent paint job but has a few scratches here and there from moving it in and out of storage. Interior is in great shape and only needs a few details for it to be perfect.
